The New York City Police Department has issued updated Crime Statistics for last weekend. It showed an increase on 79% in murders throughout New York City, with this percentage maxing out over the weekend after a steady incline throughout May. Law enforcement in NYX expects that this percentage could increase to 92% if NYCPD isn’t provided with the proper tools needed to enforce the criminal code of conduct.
The NYCPD Commissioner announced on June 12th that all Undercover Policing Units had been disbanded, with those officers returning to the regular uniform. It’s this disbandment that prompted the immediate increase in murders, with Law Enforcement also reporting that Home Invasions had increased by 35%. The two statistics correlate with each other, meaning innocent civilians were murdered after criminals broke into their homes to steal various goods. These horrendous actions wouldn’t have unfolded if criminals were concerned about Undercover Policing Units catching them in the act.
Law enforcement in New York City was hoping that crime statistics would increase drastically with the disbanding of Undercover Cops. After civilians proven to officers that they cannot be trusted, the NYCPD Commissioner confirmed that thousands of Police would patrol the streets of New York.
