North America Border Travel Restricted Until August 21st

The United States of America, the United Mexican States, and Canada collectively announced that restrictions on border travel would remain active until August 21st. This restriction isn’t applied to businesses crossing the border for retail trading purposes. An official statement from the Canadian Prime Minister clarified that all three nations agreed to an extension, ensuring safety for civilians in all three countries. Inside sources close to these delegations remarked the difficulties in convincing President Donald Trump, who often has disputed the novel coronavirus.

The United States confirmed its extension through Chad Wolf, the Homeland Security Secretary. Clarified was released through Twitter & iterated that collaborative efforts have allowed America to respond against COVID19. Donald Trumps Government wants Americans to believe that the United States is best at tackling the coronavirus and has no new infections. That’s far from the reality, with Mexico & Canada demanding an extension of border travel restrictions out of concern towards America. Trump & Chad Wolf wouldn’t ever admit that to reporters.

Donald Trump has refused border travel restrictions on trade with Mexico and Canada, threatening both their leaders with exponential tariffs. That’s why American Transport Trucks are still crossing both borders, providing consumer goods to Canadians & Mexicans, while also risking their safety by the country-to-country transmission of coronavirus. It should be clarified though that passenger volumes with the North American border have dropped by 90% since March 2020.

Detroit’s border saw an average of 500+ thousand crossings over during the summer months. That valuation has depleted to 45,000.00. It’s the lowest seen since the 9/11 Attacks in 2001. Mexican borders have supported higher volumes of travellers, with their estimates dropping from 2.9 Million down to 1.3. That’s slightly above half & shows a great number of goods used by Americans reside from Mexico’s borders.

Statistics Prompt Action from North American Leaders

Mexico & Canada forced another round of delegations after the coronavirus pandemic killed 600,000 thousand people worldwide. That number has increased since that valuation, with confirmed infections standing at 6.3 Million Infected. A large percentage of those infections are sustained throughout America, with July 18th seeing 260+ thousand Americans confirmed with the virus. It’s the most ever seen in a single day.
